Interview
Interview
So I woke up this morning feeling like ****. It was so hard to get up this morning. I really had to force myself out of bed. I was going to call and cancel but then I would be at home, disappointed in myself.
Amazing how much better I felt when I put on my good suit and lipstick instead of my usual jeans and converse. People were treating me differently as well. People really do "judge a book by its cover" so to speak.
Anyway, when I was shown into the interview room, there was 2 men and 1 woman sitting around the table. I have never been interviewed by 3 people before. I swear to God, I felt like wetting myself with nerves.
Anyway, one man said he really liked my CV and that I came across really well. I was sitting there thinking "really? " coz no one ever said that to me before
The more I am doing of these, the less frightening they are becoming. I used to live my life in a constant state of fear and anxiety, I don't know why...
On a separate note, my brother finally emailed me back last night. He said I am welcome to visit any time, except for 2 weeks in July, as the future MIL will be there. USA, here I come!!!
Hope you all have a super Monday, and that it's not manic, like one of my favourite songs "Manic Monday" by the Bangles

Haha can't beat a bit of the Bangles
So glad you went to the interview in the end, this evening you can look back on the day and, as you say not feel any regret or disappointment. Also you should feel proud of your CV and not give yourself such a hard time.
Happy for you!!
