I felt hungover the first few days too. I'm 40 days sober now and feel really good, lots of energy. I think our body and mind needs to adjust. Keep at it

I've been sober for almost 2 years and I still wake up from time to time feeling headachy. It reminds me of how it used to be, and I feel grateful I'm not hating myself for drinking again.

Yes, it's normal. I woke up with the phantom hangover after quiting for a few days, too.
Weird feeling.

I wake up some mornings and gingerly lift my head up fully expecting to feel like poo. It often takes me a few moments to realize that I am not going to feel like that since I am not hungover. I have been sober for 62 days, but my hangover memories are so vivid that it is still hard to shake them.

Still happens to me occasionally at almost a year without a drink. It's usually allergies. Stupid mountain cedar.

I'm in the early stages of a common cold and woke up feeling poorly today....dizzy/disoriented/sore throat/headache. I can't believe I used to do that to myself on purpose. It's a good reminder of how bad mornings used to be.

I don't feel hungover at 11 days sober. Occasionally an allergy headache but that's about it.
