I love this!

1. Another year sober
2. My son turned 4
3. And he is finally.. FINALLY potty trained and without a pacifier.
4. My grandpa was with us another year. He's not ill, but he's 89 and I always ask for just ONE more year So far it's worked out.
5. No-one in my family has had any major health problems.
6. My husband got his real estate license.
7. I maintained my health and weight loss for another year, and added a ton of new exercise.
8. I found a restorative yoga class and fell in love.
9. I have made a handful of really awesome friends this year.
10. I think I'm starting to get the hang of this parenting thing.

Happy 2014!! Lets make it amazing!!

2. Passed first year of university
3. Passed driving test
4. Made some great friends at university
5. Started playing tennis again
6. Passed grade 7 guitar exam
7. Started acting lessons
8. Went to Switzerland and tried skiing for first time.
9. Brought a new bike
10. Finished Charles Dickens 'Bleak House' - a book I started a few times but always got too distracted to finish and what a great book it was!

1. Enjoyed building some furniture for the house.
2. My wife and I got into taking evening and weekend bike rides.
3. My kids all stayed healthy.
4. Improved a grade in climbing (hey, I'm climber122!)
5. Enjoyed lots of sunsets and cloud-filled skies.
6. Two small health issues cleared up.
7. Was admitted to a Masters Program (Addictions Counseling)
8. Was able to meet our monthly bills.
9. My wife found new work.
10. Stayed sober

Great idea - it is a fact you can rewire a negative-thinking mind with positive-thinking circuitry if you practice a routine of writing gratitude lists! Happy 2014!

10 good things that happened in 2013!! Excellent topic. I need to write more gratitude lists:

1. Always dreamed of going to Venice, and did. Along with Rome, and several islands in Greece.
2. Got to take my parents on a vacation to Lake George, where they took me many years as a kid.
3. Got 2 new family members, Kiki and Oha, 2 kittens that bring an enormous amount of joy and happiness to my home.
4. Got to say an intimate goodbye to my other 21 year old cat Itchkabibble, who died on his own terms, at home.
5. Played a bunch of shows (I'm a musician) at BB Kings in NYC, a place I always wanted to yet hadn't played till this year. Along with some other venues I never played, yet wanted to.
6. Wrote and recorded my first complete song in a while.
7. Jumped back into AA (never quit, but my meeting count went waaaay down) and made a handful of somewhat close, new friends.
8. Was able to run again, pain free, this summer. Knee and ankle problems put that to a halt for a couple of years.
9. Got a complete and thorough physical this year, with some tests I dreaded and avoided my entire life . And got a totally clean bill of health.
10. Got to live yet another clean and sober year, with no thought or desire whatsoever to drink, alongside my best friend (and wife) who I've been with for 17 years now.
