Yesterday marked 1000 days sober

I am so proud of me.

I drank for 2.5 decades. Never would have thought I could have made it this far and enjoyed sober life THIS MUCH!!!!

Dan, when I got sober I came here and read about people having 365 and 1000 days sober. I remember thinking, "I am doing good just to get through the day." However, it was inspiring.

I come back to this board now to be an inspiration (as others on SR were to me) and try to help others. Of course I also help myself because I find strength on this board. Thanks to all that responded. May God bless your 2014
