Merry Christmas to everyone
while attending family gatherings on this very special day
we may be around some drinking
some of my family members will be drinking a glass or two of wine
in no way does it effect me
but
I still have fresh on my mind a tool used often in early sobriety
if I get feeling uptight, stressed or whatever
best for me to escape the situation ASAP
nothing wrong with getting away from it all for a while
a little walk outside with some clean air to breath
helps to settle the mind and sprit
and then when we return to the party inside
we notice
we were probably not even missed
as we continue on with our loved ones
have a blessed day
