got drunk again, no money for gas but enogh for vodka!!!!
My first inclination that I may have a problem would be if I woke up and had shat on myself!!! Yikes. Until you get over the hurdle of " I'm not like these people. I can control it " then I don't think one can get truly get over it. Took me along time to admit that I just can't do it anymore. Still struggle with it. Good luck to you. MB8
Kaisgo ..hi
The way you describe your list of negatives and not being able to go 2 days without a drink , I would say you are definitely an alcoholic
I think you are done ! You have had enough!
You are sick and tired of being sick and tired and you are crying out for help.
This is no life you are living but you CAN FIX IT , I promise .
You CAN get your life back . I know you want this .
I never thought I could do it and now I'm 5 months after years and years of heavy drinking.
Stay around here and keep posting . So many good people here with great advice
Good luck xxx

You begin by living a life that a successful person would live, by acting as though you already are successful, and this means a life without alcohol. As you've demonstrated, the sleight of mind that occurs in "convincing" ourselves that we can be successful "after years of failure" just doesn't carry enough depth and weight for us to make radical changes. The "convincing" follows the behavior.
Very few people who drink heavily throughout their lives are anything close to a consensus definition of "successful." Plenty of them make good money and are more or less successful at work but if we define "success" as living a good life and alleviating human suffering, then no.
Alcoholism and other addictions are undefeated, and the only tie is Keith Richards.
I wish I had stopped at your age. Your are lucky to have the wisdom to know this is not right. There is plenty of help available out there, not just AA. Your attitude about not giving up is great, just try, try again. Look around the forum, you have made a great start coming here. Good luck x
