I feel so much better since finding this place

I haven't drunk for many years but was getting a bit wound up with certain things and then found this place. I had not realised I was such a misery at times although I haven't fancied a drink for a long, long time. I don't do meetings but reading stuff on here has given me a great boost. I count my blessings and last night, I thought to myself, 'blimey, I haven't felt this calm in a while.'

I also do not do meetings ... I can not lie I will attend a Saturday meeting every once in a while for a refresher in the Big Book. I am glad you are here to. reading a lot of post on her has given me a lot to think about, also has helped me with a few things that have been happening to me last few weeks. it is great to feel calm at times when I can

I do not do meetings but am lucky to have made some friend that are recovering.
Being new to this site i find your thread encouraging Kate.
I feel good i have found a new place to connect and also learn with and from others!!!
