Birthday Weekend

So,tomorrow is my birthday and my best friend's boyfriend's birthday. The next day is my husband's birthday and my best friend's birthday. Odd coincidence,huh? So, needless to say, in years past, the birthday weekend for the four of us has always been a bit crazy and the booze is pretty much non stop from Friday night to Sunday night.
But not this year. I am determined to stay sober my whole birthday weekend. Probably for the first time since I was like 16 or so. This was the first year I did not do the bar thing the night before Thanksgiving and I not only survived, I was happy I did not go.
So, I will be stopping by this thread thru out the weekend to keep myself in check. I am feeling and looking too good right now to **** this up.

I just went through a birthday weekend myself and going through another one this weekend. I still attended the parties, but didn't stay as long as I would of in past years. I think the main thing is to have fun, don't over think it, and know when it's time to leave.

Day 1 (Friday) of bday weekend was a success. The next two nights will be more of a challenge. May have to stay in

but that is ok.

I am kicking birthday weekend's ass. One more day. This will be the hardest. All my friends work in restaurants so weekends for them usually start on Sunday. Sunday Funday as we always called it. Brunch with mimosas or bloody Marys. And pretty much a steady day of booze following. Went to brunch, had a yummy diet coke, now watching "Up" with birthday boy husband, going to the folks house for dinner and we shall see after that. But I must say, this has been much easier than I anticipated.
