My drinking had gone on long enough. I was killing myself, I needed to be there for my son. I also had a career that was going no where. My life is 100% better, I'm healthy, I have a lost a ton of weight. I spend time with my son, and I am not just laying on a couch on the weekends. I started a new career which is going great!

What kept me sober? My outlook kept me strong, I new I was not living up to what I could be, and I never personified alcohol (this may not what works for others). Simple rule do not drink, and focus on positive things to fill the gap in your life that drinking consumed. I know if I drink again, I could be back to square one, so I dont.
