My Daughters Surgery
Kaylas having MAJOR surgery today.I NEED ALL YOUR PRAYERS SENT TO FROEDERT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL !!! VIA GOD TO WAUWATOSA WISCONSIN...The complications are great....Five hours minimum....IM TERRIFIED FOLKS....Im trying to be strong....But its not easy.I LOVE YOU ALL!! THANKS....Brian
Thanks Guys... shes AOK! It was really weird. She was scheduled for surgery at 1:30...We got there at 11:30..She did'nt get into surgery until almost 3:30.Waiting with her...Trying to be patient...My ex was REALLY edgy...Well the sugery only took three hours. They said minimum of five hours. When the chief surgeon came out he was grinning ear to ear.....He knew he had really done an awsome job!! Words cannot begin to desribe the look on his face...I knew right away before a single word was spoken.I really believe in the power of prayer.God watches out for little kids and drunks. And I think we in recovery have a hotline to God...Thanks for the prayers!! a side note (kinda ironic) The hospital..Froedert Hospital...Comes from the Froedert MALT Corp....They Made their vast fortune by suppling the beer industry with high quallity hops and malt...Miller...Schlitz...Pabst...It was the Hospital were I nearly assumed room temprature...The Hospital were I hit my bottom...And the reason Im sober TODAY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! thanks again Brian
Prayers going your way!! This in from Don W:
Hi, I am glad your daughter is doing fine. I work at Boston's Childrens Hospital so, I see first hand parents waiting while their child has surgery. I have mentioned a number of times, to fellow employees, how hard it must be for parents to go home and leave their child at the hospital. I work in the operating room. Sometimes, when I feel I am having a tuff time I walk around and look at what others are dealing with. I strongly suggest this to everyone. Many times when I have seen the strength of these families, like yourself, I have been able to draw on the power of example. There are delays but, not everything goes as planned in the OR. A doctor can get delayed with another patient. The case before your daughter's might be a little more complicated than first thought. Anyway, needless to say, my prayers are with both your daughter and your family. Don W
