Next week my brother his family and other family from India will be arriving and that means I have to give them my car when they need it because they will be doing a lot of sightseeing and will need two cars. This doesn't leave me any chance to go to meetings. Last time I went without meetings I relapsed. I don't want that to happen again. I love my brother and his wife and niece and nephew but they are high maintenance and they irritate me to death. I love them dearly though and so thankful to have them in my life. I hope I can make it through the week without going to any meetings.

you can't ask them to rent a car? Tell them you need yours. Will this get them angry just to mention that?

How long will they be here? I am not in AA but I was under the impression that there are online meetings? And come visit us here. We can help keep ya in check!
Also, what about your sponsor or someone else from your meetings? Could they give you a ride?

Can't you get a ride from sme1 in AA? I did that for Awhile when I had car issues. Most people will be very happy to help. I did offer gas money tho. And yes, use online meetings if you need 2.

Yes it will make them angry and since my parents help me out with car expenses I must give them my car.

Ask someone in AA. Someone will get you to and from meetings.
