I am only on day 2 without alcohol. I started to get teary eyed after reading an email someone sent to me. I first read it yesterday and to be honest I felt kinda indifferent, then again today, and tears started rolling down my eyes. I guess it must be mood swings? Other moments I feel high up, then sorta crash into a emotional dull state where I just don't care about anything or anyone and feel anxious. The feelings come and go in waves. I also feel a tiny bit detached. Anybody else feel this way?

I was totally bonkers the last detox and that set me up to never want to go through it again.

Hang in there. It really does get better.

Oh yeah, I'd wager a lot of us felt that way. Totally natural, totally normal. For me, long walks during the day really helped, it kind of tired me out and got me more settled. A hot cup o' decaffeinated tea in the evenings and a crossword puzzle did the same thing.

Day 3 I cried at everything, taxi didn't turn up to take me to drs and I cried, couldn't get wifi to work I cried, now I just feel angry lol, not sure which is worse!
