If you are going to leverage SR for support, you should visit often, do what others have done to get sober. Are you willing to do whatever it takes to get sober?

Up to this point I haven't been willing to do what it takes. I feel very weak when I come here and it's difficult for me to speak.

I used to say "can't, can't, can't". That changed to "must". It's changed again to "can and will".
