I know why I relapsed partly because I got out of touch with my higher power. I try and never ask my higher power for things but lately I feel very angry at it. I belieVe you have to work hard to get what you want but sometimes I think if this gods will for me I sure hate it. I'm sorry I hope I don't offend anyone. I just needed to vent. I need to get back in touch with my higher power.

We all lose connection with our HP sometimes.

I often roll out of bed in the morning, get down on my knees to pray and think I'm talking to the wall.

You will go through every conceivable feeling and emotion in the first while of recovery and you won't even be able to name the feelings much less do much about them.

The oldtimers told me to: "Keep coming back it gets better" ... and it does.

Stick with your sponsor and the oldtimers and you will be well. Have faith in your program and work it.

Things can wax and wane, doubt, fear and other emotions can well up. Sometimes having the courage to hold on and stick it through is whats needed.
