Hi All,

On Friday I start taking Disulfiram, in the pamphlet I was given, and at my appointment with the Dr I was told that I should check the products (deodrants, aftershave ect) I use to see if they contain alcohol or not.

So i have done that and I find that they do so I have to go get some that do not.

On a whim I figured I would check some of the other products around the house, and I have found my bubble bath (I do like bubbles!) contains it, as well as my hand wash (I have yet to check everything).

So I am wondering are all products that contain alcohol a no-no? or is it a percentage thing?

I am going to boots tomorrow to pick up what I need so wanted to see if anyone out there had the answers.

I am assuming better safe than sorry...

When I took it I found that the only thing to give me a reaction was drinking alcohol. The small amounts in products, even hand sanitizer didn't bother me. However, I was cautious and took my time to try things out, a little here and there. Its probably different for everyone, good to be cautious.
