DUI Convictions And Driving.....
I just want to let everyone know that a DUI is not the end of the world. My last one was in 2002 and I thought I would never drive again. I got my license and am currently enrolled in a chauffer training class. If I complete it I will be able to drive limos and will be responsible for other passengers. That is a miracle. I am almost 1 year sober after almost a decade of rehabs, hospitals and jails.

[QUOTE=Dee74;3843400]glad it's going well for you J41.
Yes Dee, for once it actually is. I realize today that life can be awful sober but you have to remain sober if you want a chance. That's the most honest thing I think I have ever said.

I try to give back to others now that have the "DUI situation". In my state, the special mandated insurance is not even that expensive. The Secretary Of State here is brutal & really makes you dance around. I know a good lawyer who offers a discount for those who really are going to AA.
