Comment on the Stugoltz Experiment thread.

Since the thread was closed...I just wanted to comment on the post that asked whether it was a success or failure...A little bit of both? Sounds like a complete disaster...As many of us expected. Still waiting for the one to come back and say it was better this time.

Yeah, but if it convinces him that he has no business drinking and that he cannot handle it, then something good can come of it. Sometimes I think the worst part of alcoholism isn't so much the trouble we get into, but instead, it is how incredibly patient it is and how it is able to convince us that we can control it, regardless of how many times it has kicked our azzes.

Cunning, baffling and powerful, indeed. I would add patient also.

Letting someone else do my research for me has been a great aid to my recovery.

Well, I was really hoping the best for him! Now I am wondering if he went off the deep end? As far as I was following on that thread, he was happy, satisfied and convinced that things were controllable and great.

Were they? I would like to know....please?

When I close a thread, I don't expect it to be 're-opened' by other members.

I closed the other thread because Stugotz is no longer a member here.
Therefore...this thread is closed too.
