Dealing with addiction
I know that i can't have a bottle of liquor llike i used to. I am no longer capable of leaving it alone indefinitely as i did 20 years ago.
They tell drug users to delete their dealer's numbers from their cell phones.
There are certain things that we're better not having access to.
And now i'm downloading a "Net Nanny" blocker to keep myself from wasting time on certain websites (1). Gotta get some work done.
regards

Alcoholism gets progressively worse as the years go by.That fooled me in the beginning,I had stayed dry for 9 months when I was 41,but by age 46 I couldn't leave it alone for a month despite doctors orders.
What's really insidious is that the will to resist evaporates."If I ever get that bad I'll quit" I would think.....and when it did get that bad I couldn't quit.
