Good Evening and TY for reading my post.

I am on my first day of detox, went to my doctor for help with the d/t's. He gave me clonidine 0.1 mg 3 X's daily. Does anyone know how well it works. I'm most worried about seizures.
I was drinking about a gallon of v0dka a day, but the past month I got down to a 5th a day.

We aren't allowed to provide medical advice here, so I would recommend going back to your doctor if you have concerns about the efficacy of your medication. There's always the ER available if you do find yourself in a bad spot. Not to be crass, but it's better to be stuck with a hospital bill and be alive than be debt-free but dead.

I've never used Clonidine so I have no experience to share.

If you're not sure you trust your doctor's prescription, or you're worried about seizures please go back and see another Dr or go to the ER: like Josh said we can can't give you medical advice here - you need a Dr for that

do a search on what it is. by clonidine's nature, your chances of seizures are already reduced.

just don't drink and call the doctor and ask them to explain what that medication is and does, be honest and tell doctor your concerns.

Call your doctor
Write all of your questions down and ask them one by one.
