so tired of myself
Hello all,
I have been and off here for a while, mostly on chat but have never posted my feelings anywhere. I have been drinking about a bottle of wine a night,Feel horrible the next day, drag myself to my part time job and start over again.
I have a great husband although we have had many tragedies in the past five years. I think I started drinking to have fun when we met about ten yrs ago but the party turned into something else, namely Im too tired and hungover to
do anything but drink.I drink to forget the hard times I have had I spose.
I went to AA about 6 mos ago
for 30 days but I just wanted to drink so I did.
No excuses there. I am so depressed and tired all the time and I know its alot to do with the alcohol.Anyway, thanks for listening.

Welcome, pooky. I have been where you are and it is no life at all. You have much support here ... we understand.
What are you going to do to help yourself get sober Are you considering going back to AA? SR is a great place for support but personally, I think face to face support is invaluable.
We're here for you, regardless.
