I've been sober for 28 days!

This was my big goal when I started and my "test" to make sure that I can commit to this and stay sober. I'm more confident than ever that I can.

Just a little story, last night I went out with friends first to a lounge and ordered a cucumber juice thingy instead of drinking and then we went to a club where they ordered 2 BOTTLES OF CHAMPAGNE, I was served and had the booze in my hand, even toasted with it and was able to not drink. For a second I was very anxious, was even chewing on my cheek and then got through that and had an awesome night. At the end of it, I couldn't find a taxi and, being SOBER, was even able to bike home. Cruising through the streets 3am on an early spring night in Paris and I felt damn good! To add to the feeling, by chance I biked by a man getting busted for a DUI after rearending somebody. Never have the benefits of not drinking seemed so clear.

So I just wanted to share that, today's a good day!
