Ideas for sober birthday

My birthday is soon, and I'm newly sober so I'd like to exclude going out for dinner.

Any ideas?

The nicest way you can celebrate your birthday, in my opinion, is to honor yourself by not drinking. Your sobriety is most wonderful gift you can give yourself.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!! You're so smart to be thinking ahead Ideas......

maybe go out to eat somewhere that doesn't serve alcohol,
cook in with some yummy treats you don't usually have and watch a movie,
go bowling or mini-golfing (esp. fun if you have kids),
go to a movie and for ice cream,
if you have a special hobby - go there: bookstore, craft store and pick up goodies,
get together with friends and play boardgames and have cake
aahhh - don't forget the yummy, sweet cake ......

I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas. Enjoy your day and looking forward to the next, wonderful, sober year!

just continue to take care of yourself....treat yourself to something special...celebrate you and all you are!!! and try to avoid slippery places..and people that would make it"easy" for you to have a drink....

Spa day!

Massage, mani/pedi - the whole works.

Thanks guys, great ideas! I especially would love the massage spa treatment (drool) but nothing in town that does that.

I'm thinking bowling and board games sounds like good fun I can pig out on chicken wings at the bowling alley and not feel guilty lol
