While I am certain the other site is full of well meaning members just as we are....

more importantly is to keep up with whatever the professionals say is indicated regarding your eye.

I do have a retina disease in both eyes....I have regular appointments with a specialist to keep in touch with
whatever new treatments have been discovered.
Fortunately on going research is finding all sorts of new ways to improve vision problems.

All my best.....

Followed up with the doctor again today.. He generally didn't seem even concerned with my well being or my eye.. When I asked questions he scoffed and said stop reading the internet. When I brought up a condition that was almost the same as mine, he said that I'm too young for it. Although I know for a fact it happens to people my age with my medical history..

I've been on the phone trying to find another doctor and haven't had much luck lately..

He hasn't treated me with anything, just said lets wait and see.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this, but hopefully things will continue to be favourable.

I definitely agree with getting a new dr. A dr who dismisses legitimate concerns from a patient is not a good dr.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I know it's terribly worrisome. And I totally agree you deserve a doctor who takes your feelings and your concerns seriously. But hey, your MRI was clear! That's fantastic news! That's not an opinion or an anecdote about someone else's condition—that's a fact, and a super encouraging one.

I do think you should keep pursuing answers, but try not to worry yourself sick. And I'd be careful about consulting Dr. Google too much—he has misdiagnosed me and predicted my demise more times than I can count....
