Well I made my first sober day without my helpful meds and it was tough. Maybe this is what I need the real feel of withdrawal. I have always been medical detoxed perhaps too well. Heck even in a large urban jail they gave me proper meds. I did hit a meeting and a man who knows my long history seems interested in working with me. Anyone willing to sponser me knows they are taking a huge chance I'm sure. Looking forward to getting into my new mental health which isn't free but is very low cost. I had the same therapist for 5 years & I finally had to tell him that it wasn't working. It was hard for me but I figured I'm the one dying, I have to go elsewhere.

Have to attend a family function today where there will be alcohol. Of course, I'm the only well known alcoholic in the family so they will be watching me like a hawk. Being around alcohol isnt a real problem. Sucking down Vodka by the gallon is.
