I did it

Well, I went to the party completely sober. Had a few San Pelligrinos and Diet Cokes. Party was quite boring sober, but was very responsible and had a decent time. Felt great to drive myself home, go to bed at a decent hour, and wake up feeling great. I've got 11 days and feeling good. I'm kind of feeling like a teenager again, and more sleepy at night, it's a very different feeling, but all around physically I feel so much better and so glad I don't have to deal with hangovers.

I too found being around drinkers was very boreing after I quit.
plus the stench of alcohol and loud screetches were not pleasant.

Good to know you came home sober...
