A year!!! :)
365 days since my last drink!!! so amazing to me, because I remember a time when I would drink every other day....and couldn't even think of NOT drinking! my life revolved around alcohol..and what a small world I created for myself..I've done more in the past year than I ever did drinking!! and have learned alot about myself, sobriety is a gift that gives everyday and I am truly grateful for this chance in life, to live good, to be happy, and to connect with others!
I know I had to go through those dark days to make me the person that I am today, they have brought a depth to me that I didn't have before....or had, but was buried deep inside....Sobriety has shown me a world full of opportunities, that they are there for the taking...they may not come easy, but I now have the drive to go after them!
Thank-you to all of you, for being here! you have been such a huge part in my recovery..and I am truly grateful!
For everyone who is struggling, it does get better...believe in yourself! because YOU ARE WORTH IT!!
