Hi again all. I haven't been on here for about three and a half months because I started drinking again after five+ months of trying to get sober. I tryed to do it on my own but I know that will not be possible. So I got in contact with a friend from high school that has been sober for four years and him and I hung out today for three hours and we are going to a meeting in about 20min. He is really willing to help me which I need because I felt so lost on my own. I also called my friends dad that has been sober for 25 years and he is going to have his sponsor call me to become mine. I am going to do whatever they tell me to and work the steps with every fiber of my being because I really want to get better.

I just wanted to post this because I have found a lot of support here also and wanted to get back on this site. Anyway, you all are wonderful and please wish me luck. Flip.

I'm an AA'er, so I think this is great.

Working the steps, going to meetings, and finding a relationship with a higher power removed the obession to drink for me.

...but I'm not special. It can work for you too.
