My 1st Post-Drinking Workout...

It's been a month since I last drank. I used the month to rest and try to get things in order before starting to exercise (GI stuff, which always prevented me from exercising)...

I pedaled the exercise bike in the gym at work for 50 minutes (2 episodes of the Twilight Zone on the ipod).

I must say, I feel great, right now... No issues in the gym, nothing

I'm going to start working out soon too. I think it's a positive choice. Good job.

Nice! if you google the bennifits of exercising it really is amazing all the things that come up. For me it is not a vanity thing but it really does enhance mood and helps with rest at night. ****** moods and not sleeping at night used to lead to me drinking thinking it would fix those things. When I am exercising 3-4 days a week I feel great, I think it is imparative for everyone, alcoholic or not. This is coming from a guy who didn't play sports growing up and drank/smoked all through out highschool....

Yes, I remember being in decent shape, a few years back...

I just hope I haven't done any permanent damage, anywhere.

I guess we'll see what happens. Next week, I'll start back pumping iron, as well...
