My biggest thrill in living sober is not waking up sick as a dog and hating myself.

I'm enjoying Day 6. Every day is like a gift I give myself....waking up refreshed, headache free, thinking MUCH more clearly....and as an added bonus (!) find that my anti-depressants work SO much better when I'm not imbibing alcohol! DUH!

I just can't get over how much better I feel.

we all deserve to enjoy life in our sobriety....feeling good about myself and quitting alcohol opens up a world of new possibilities.

Sampar is right, it does NOT have to be "doom and gloom", there is much to be grateful for and look forward to.

I found it very easy enjoying life sober, it sure wasn't any fun drunk or sober before...but thats with a change in myself...the guy before certainly would have found life dull and boring without any booze at all!
