8 months TODAY!!!!

Hello friends!!! Wow 8 months today!! never imagined my life without alcohol, it was such a part of my life for over 20 years!! and by the grace of God here I am sober!!! The journey has been good, I'm learning so much about my self, and discovering new things that I enjoy...things I never would have done if I was drinking... There have been some cravings throughout the months, especially the first three, now they aren't as strong, they come, and then they go...just like the waves in the ocean!!

I can only say that maintaining a healthy outlook on life, getting involved in things you love and keeping the stress down are key factors in sobriety and SR (for me anyway) I'm looking forward to life now...and all the new chapters coming my way!!
