Day 2, trying again. My brother and I decided to do it together, he is currently tapering and down to 4 beers from 36/day (to keep the shakes manageable). He has a Doctor appt. Friday and has agreed to totally stop on that day as we've had lengthy discussions about the perils of tapering but he was scared sh**less about cold turkey even with with medical supervision. He had a brother in law who almost died from cold turkey so we agreed this was better then nothing. So far for me no sleep upset stomach, blood pressure good have some pills from the Dr. if I need them. After my last attempt to quit I would wake up and have a 24oz beer before work, one at lunch and 2 on the way home, then 2 -3 glasses of wine with the wife. A far cry from the 24-36 beers I tried quitting from the first time. Wish us luck.
