Vivid Dream
Yo,
Had such an intense dream of drinking last night, nothing particular scandalous just sinking beers, but when i woke up i was so confussed as to whether it was reality or not, took me like 5 mins to come to. The question I was mulling over this morning is, do these dreams come because you secretly (or non secretly for that matter) want booze, or do they come because as people trying to stay abstinent we obsess over alcohol in general. It's probably different for everyone i guess.

My drinking dreams crawl out of the subconscious when I am particularly stressed (usually about school), and sometimes I have those drinking dreams conflated with school stress dreams, like I'm supposed to take a test, but I know I'm too drunk to take it, but it doesn't matter anyway because I don't know the material since it's always something like quantum physics or History of Ancient Rome.
I don't know why we have them. But vitamin b-6 will help with them. I had dreams like that when I first stopped drinking. Taking B-6 stopped them. They would come back, and I took more B-6. It no doubt worked for me.

Stewart, it's like the veg vs meat dreams. There might be more to it, but then you go down the road of how much dreams actually do mean, and I don't think that is very black and white. I don't really remember my dreams very clearly, they evaporate quickly. When I used to dream about a previous stage of my life (I am again working somehwere I had left years ago, or I am at school again), or my parents are alive (which they are not)...it's all the same thing, just a memory processing dream. There might be some trouble behind it, but then again maybe not. If you dream about drinking, I wouldn't assume this is a SIGN of some kind.
