Hey ya all, ya ain't gonna believe this...
I've been off alcohol for 25 days, but what I find interesting is that finally I feel after ALL the problems/issues I had with it and so on, when I look at alcohol now at like any time I don't even want it because I know what comes with it. It's amazing how it's been finally built into me, it just won't help me later, it'll only make things worse :].
I'm really depressed tonight as I write this, but to those who are struggling recovering alcoholics and recoverers in general I just want you to know RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE! I'm still suffering from my opiate addiction but I am glad to say I am very glad to be off alcohol, at least I have SOMETHING off me... :ghug3

That reminds me of a famous British comedian who gave up opiates and then alcohol. He's doing well in America (and all over the world now) in fact.
