Hi Gong,
Just a suggestion.....try calling another sober alcoholic if you think you are going to pick up.This has worked for me.Also writing down the horrible events that have taken place in my life due to alcoholism, snaps me back into the reality of.....If I drink I might die....OR WORSE.I really feel for you..cravings can be tough, but keep in mind that your cravings will only last a short while, and the consequences of alcoholic drinking can be forever.I hope this helps, and good luck to you!

Welcome to our SR community!
You could call the A.A. Hotline
& find where there is a meeting.
They may be able to have a member
call you & offer face to face support.
Keep coming back & get to a doctor if
you have severe withdrawl symptoms.

I take it you have been sober for over 3 years. If so, you must have been doing something right. However, have you ever tried helping anyone else stay sober?
Just a suggestion - try helping someone else stay sober. You don't need to get any results to benefit, just try! For some reason, altruistic behavior takes away my desire to drink.
Spiritual principles don't need to make sense to work.

I have noticed this, too, and it's good advice. I'd also add that the work doesn't have to be with alcoholics - any donation of your own time is great for getting through cravings. Of course, I'm just starting over today, but the times I was working with various charities the urges quelled.

You are sober since Nov 2007..... you have had to deal with urges, compulsions and physical manifestations of the disease. You have been successful one day at a time. Call someone, go to a meeting; just get out of yourself. It will be fine.

The Serenity Prayer
.God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
