Day 16 of being sober and a few questions???
I have been drinking pretty heavily for about 3 years now( at least 3 or 4 times a week with no less then 6 -15 beers when i drink).
I'm on day 16 and do not have the urge to drink but am still having physical issues that are on and off, but have been slightly improving. I still have anxiety(which is the worst), heart racing, sometimes shortness of breathe, trouble sleeping( due to cramps in my knees) and whenever i do anything physical i get light headed, shortness of breathe and feel like i have to vomit.
I can't contact a doctor because i do not have insurance and money is an issue right now.
Any suggestions on what i should do to help get through this detox??
I'm taking multi-vitamins and drinking a lot of water, but i have been reading a lot of posts and am going to pick up some b+ vitamins tomorrow. Anything else i can do to beat this???

Sorry you are having physical symptoms which may
or may not have anything to do with your new sobriety.
If you live in the U.S. you can contact your local
health department for information Many areas have
free clinics .....some teaching hospitals take ER patients
with no insurance.
You really do need medical assistance to diagnose you.

Ican relate to this, only day 9, and for a good few days had a lot of ailments appearing
which ive never had drinking, also a strong flu like bug... Hoping this to be a natural
detox goin on... beginning to get over the worst after 9 days.. Plenty fresh fruit, veg,
juice.. water has no doubt helped... I guess nature has a way of cleansing itself once
you stop and give it the chance? your body that is...
