I'm glad your wife is getting the professional attention she need
Prayers for her well being going out.

John..your drinking again will change....what?
Remember please...you almost died from alcohol not long ago.
Prayers that you continue to be sober.
Find a meeting and go share...

CarolD's right... It won't fix anything. The short term gratification doesn't out weigh the long term damage.

Hang out with us tonight and post updates..

Having a drink will not help the situation in any way, shape, form, or fashion. Keep posting here and vent any frustrations you have. We are here for you.

all about you,ain`t it John?

why don`t you stay sober, get your sober azz home and try and be of service anyway?
Set the good example for them. The step daughter just may need her sober step dad there.
and pray

I know that you're on the road, John, and can't do anything about this situation that has come up, as upsetting as it might appear. You've been going through a lot with this marriage untangling. I've learned that other people's actions and choices have very little to do with me, and that I don't have to fall into a sordid drama fest as long as I maintain my own integrity.

It's unfortunate that this has happened, but your wife is getting medical attention. She will have to learn her own consequences. I hope your step daughter is getting the support she needs.

Just take care of you and don't drink. Call someone to vent. One step at a time.

Drive carefully, please. Hang in there and keep us posted.

Hugs,

Donna

Well, everything is ok with my wife, seems she was after attention or a cry for help who knows, it does seem that i tend to have the alcoholic thinking that it is all about me. I dont want to be that way it just turns out like that, thank you bballdad for being 1 of many to point it out, a flaw i am trying to correct. Life is just all outta whack for me but as to everyones surprise i have remained sober.

Take care,
John
