Groundhog's Day...
Well kids, I recall only a month ago thinking "there's really nothing to this sobriety thing!". Oops Apparently my sobriety didn't make it to South America with me on vacation. It must have gotten held up in customs.
Day 2. Fortunately there weren't any embarassing moments like mistakenly groping the neighbors dog or making the evening news being chased by the police wearing nothing but a lamp shade shouting conspiracy theories - just the usual slow start toward the inevitable.
<Austin Gemini Stands Up> "My name is Austin, and I'm an idiot for thinking I was somehow different."

Thanks All! Appreciate the words.
Great question CarolD. I plan on going to meetings when I get back from Vegas next week. Yes, Vegas. Don't worry, I won't touch a drink, my gambling addiction is way stronger than my drinking one.

There is an interesting AA club in Vegas
I went to several times.
From my hotel...Brennans Horseshoe it was
a $5 cab down...bus back was simple.
Call the Vegas AA ..ask for the T.I.E. Club.
if you want to go.
...They probably have G.A. in Vegas too.

Went to Vegas when, I was drinking. Couldn't get a cocktail waitress to come back around very often to bring me a drink. Next time I went out, I had a cocktail waitress coming by every few minutes, go figure. I bought a bottled coke from outside on Freemont street.
