I don't know if this'll help or hinder anyone, but I'm going to write a diary of how my detox goes.

I've spoken to my doctor (first step in any Detox IMO)
Now comes the hard part.

I'm on day 1, last drink about an hour ago.
Hopefully this will let people know that it can be done and not to be scared of giving up.

Well day 1 didn't go well, I fell off and am hoping to try again today.

As for what my Doctor gave me, it's Chlordiazepoxide (Librium)

He says it will get me through the worst, it's just a question of willpower at this point.

After that I'll move onto some other drug which will reduce cravings.
Just a question of getting through the first 5 days for now.

Well, here goes.

I've stocked up on emulators for some SNES games, Arcade games and a whole ton of Monty Python.
Hopefully that'll get me through the 'worst' of it.

Anyone who uses Emulation, send me a PM. Would love to hear from you.
