Good Books for Recovery Reading
I love my books! If you are familiar with John Callahan the cartoonist, he wrote a great book about his alcoholism and recovery. It's titled "Don't Worry, He Won't Get Far on Foot." Very powerful, funny and worth taking the time to find it.
If you have any recommends, please post them here.
During a recent cleaning spree, I found a book I picked up at a used book store some years ago. It's the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book, printed in 1955! I paid two dollars for it. I remember wondering how it came to be in that store, it wasn't very used and the dust cover was faded. Certainly not mint condition but makes me think.
