19 days sober now...I've been carrying out an abundance of tasks, gardening, buying fish, thinking of the future without drink. I just feel a little too normal. Too inert...I hate this feeling as much as I did the hopeless drunk....Anyone else feel like this after getting dry. I kinda feel like a fraud. Me the alcoholic suddenly so normal and getting on with things less than a month after I was a maw of despair...Help!

I felt and still to to this day like a weight was lifted and I was normal. You have to be able to forgive yourself and move on, in my opinion. Don't feel like a fraud, you instead should feel great about yourself and you future. The negative feelings will pass and before you know it you will love the new you.

Community action groups...AA....a new hobby?
