The "Cure"
DK if they make sure their patients understand what they are doing is not really a "CURE", but a method of staying sober & or clean I doubt they will kill anyone, but if they are telling thier patients they are "CURED", they might.
There is no "CURE" for alcoholism but there is "A Solution". It was proclaimed before the Big Book was even written in:
THE FIRST sentence
In THE FIRST paragraph
On THE FIRST page
Of the Forward to THE FIRST Edition
Written by THE FIRST 100 members of AA.
"We, Of Alcoholics Anonymous, are more than one hundred men and women who have recovered from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body."

seems like an argument of semantics to me.....some people would use the word cured rather than recovered and mean the same thing. Wether or not the word is being used correctly is one thing....wether or not there are things other than AA for overcoming, recovering or "curing" our alchoholism is another quesiton entirely...and I think SR its self shows that there are many answers to our problem.
RECOVERED means there is a way to avoid the problem permanently.
There is no cure for being eaten by a Lion but most of us need not visit Lion's in the first place.
