Finally called the doctors about my medication.
The withdrawal from Lamictal is too much, too mindless, not eating enough, and I feel I was doing better when I was on the Seroquel 400mg/Lamictal 125mg instead of now. Well at last, called the physcian assistant *Andrea* and we're going to do what the doctor says because what I'm going through is way too crazy to continue. It's Easter Sunday so I can't talk to the doctor today but tomorrow I'll talk to the assistant and see what they say... I remember I felt better back when I was on Seroquel/Lamictal, and now this... this is just the wrong way.

I feel as if this horrible feeling that I have... is what life is going to be like and I have to accept it. Is that strength? Accepting horrible crap in your life...? Just saying... either way I had very strong temptations for booze today but I kept sober.

Glad you will be speaking to your medical team today.
Many of us do have problems in our lives
that we deal with and accept.
Nothing is helped by our continueing to drink.
It is absolutely unhealthy and it's best to quit.
Keep sober and be safer.

Paulos it appears as though you are finally coming to the point where you are asking for help and not trying to do it your way.
Paulos if you keep on asking for help and following suggestions things will slowly get better, when it comes to medications we need to follow the advise of doctors, they prescribe meds for a reason.
We are not doctors, we need to trust that when we tell the doctor the truth and that includes that we have a problem with alcohol, that the doctor will prescribe us the right medicines.
The doctor can not prescribe us the right medicine if we are lying to them about drinking or anything else.
If we are not drinking and we are taking all of the meds that the doctor has prescribed the way they were prescribed and still having problems we need to let the doctor know what is wrong.
Meds and doctors can not help us if we are not honest and not taking the meds as prescribed.
