help
We're not doctors here Richie, but I can suggest that you find some AA meetings, walk in, even while you still have alcohol in you, tell them you want to stop drinking. There will be folks at some of those meetings that can help you with detoxing, or will know where you can go for help without insurance.
On top of that, you will find people that have been or still are exactly where you are now. Won't hurt to give it a try. I hear there is some real good AA in the Myrtle Beach area.

Check out these links, there are many support groups out there for you.
First things first...get rid of all the booze in your home...don't buy anymore.
Get checked out by a doctor, and be open with him/her.
Know that you are giving yourself a wonderful gift....Sobriety.
Good Luck
