Whats up fellows,

This is the first Sunday in a long time that I havent felt awful. This weekend was pretty tough. I talked to my sponsor, and a few friends of Bill W. I just starting to write about all of my thoughts about drinking and what I could lose if I drank. The obsessing stop. I know I will want to drink again, but at least I am not planning a drink tonight. Thanks to all who gave advice.

Great job making it through the weekend. Happy that you have a sponsor and are working the steps actively. What a great start! Keep taking things one day at a time (maybe minutes at a time when it gets tough)...

It gets better!

Keep coming back,

NMB

Excellent work on getting through the week, this weekend in particular. You know, it was Sunday, December 16, 2007 I sobered up (first full day of sobriety on the 17th). It always seems to be a good day for me, a day when I really remember where I came from & why I am doing what I am doing (gratitude). Wishing you many more good days to come.

Sunday does seem to be a good day - Sunday January 13, 2008 for me!

Congrats on a week, Dude, that's great! And thanks for reminding me about the journaling thing, I need to keep up with that. Are you attending meetings?

Thats great Dude. And you've just reminded me how great it is to not be suffering the effects of too much alcohol. Thanks for sharing your good news.

Well it looks like your working the program. If the cravings hit, call your sponsor, or other members of the fellowship. That's what the tools are for.

Just to reinforce what others have said use the tools you have, if i would have taken that advice about the 100th time in trying to quit my path of destruction would be far less. Congrats, and keep doing what you need to do.

Take care, John

Good job TD. Personally, I'm having a lot of trouble right now. The urge is strong and dark thoughts keep stirring slowly in my mind. You are an inspiration though. Keep it up.

I would trying praying, even if you don't know if you believe or what you believe in. The ultimate goal of the 12 steps is a spiritual awaking. It works.
