Back in AA

I left AA for 6 months and last Monday was my first day back to the meetings.
I have gone to meetings everyday since Monday, so basically 1 or 2 a day for the entire week.
It is GREAT to be back!!
If I want to stay sober, I must go to meetings.

Meetings keep me sober.

Your friend,
SportsGuy

Thats where Im headed. For too long, I was trying to do this myself.

I finally figured out, self help doesnt work for me.

Me too...meetings and stepwork work for me. All power to people who can do it on their own, but for me the solution is the fellowship, the steps, service! Great to be sober!!!

I am with all of you, meetings, the steps and a sponsor.

You know I was thinking before I started typing this, I am actually glad I could not do it alone, today I have more true friends then I ever dreamed possible and a huge part of my life revolves around helping others to find what I have found, helping my fellow man!

If I had been able to do it on my own, would I have gained what I have in AA? I think not!!!

Sportsguy welcome home brother!
