Guess what I did yesterday?
I got my nails done!! I know to many of you (especially you manly men) this may not seem much of an accomplishment, but it is for me.
I used to have my nails done every two to three weeks. As my drinking and anxiety increased my hands would shake more and more often. It's hard to have a manicure with shaking hands - It's also kinda embarrising!
Today is day 13, and my hands don't shake anymore!!
Who else has an accomplishment to share??

i'd say that is a huge accomplishment, tinlizzy!
gotta ask you, if you don't mind - how do you feel about pedicures? i can't stand them, i hate it when people touch my feet. i get 'em every once in awhile, and then just end up feeling tortured the entire time. sorry, off topic - maybe there's another support group for people with pedicure phobia? k

Congrats on the shaking stopping and getting your nails done to celebrate, I used to buy myself nothing but booze, now I treat myself to a new book on occasion.

Yes I got my toes done too. I love a good pedicure!

my head still shakes, dont know how much that is to do with the alcohol abuse or if its just a nuro thing. maybe one day ill get it checked out. most of the time i dont even know its happening until someone asks me if im ok then they tell me...
as far as the waxing, please, no pic in speedo. althought, i do get my arms waxed, tattoos, ya know. easier than shaving.
