Give it your best! I'm proud of you! This is a very important step that can give you your life back! We are all pulling for you here at SR and will be right here when you return.

Try really hard to stay open-minded about the whole rehab experience - and know that there are good things ahead for you, if only you make this beginning. We will be here for you when you get back. (((hugs))) very proud of you.

After 40 years of drinking detox had me scared to death...... but then again the reason I was going was because I knew I was going to die if I did not stop drinking!
The best advice I can give you is to follow directions! I/we will be here for you when you get back. You will be in my prayers, more then likely seeing you can go longer then a week without a drink and working a program will be just what you need to get you over the hump and on the road to long term sobriety.

I cant stay away.. went to a meeting tonight..and talked to a friend..he told me reahab is hard but totally great1 I am scared but really excited. Just wanted to tell you all that I will miss you all! thansk for your support . SOBER RECOVERY ROCKS!! : )

ahh 5am pac west time..no zzzz tonight but I am sober.. I am so terrified of rehab. i wont get to talk on the phone or use internet for 1 month and then very limited after that...But I will be in a safe enviroment with recovery 24/7. meeting everyday..and th good news is I will be in the sun (SO CAL)! (we dont get much here in the NW..lots of grey and rain.) anyways.. So I m for sure going ..just need to figure out when..hopefully this weekend..i am tired of waiting I am going to drive there with my mom and my dog (dropping the pooch off with my bro who lives in cali). I wish I was leaving today. i guess i said a premature goodbye cuz at 5 am there is noone i can call and I feel so scared and anxious ..OK HP... I know let go..let god. I hope rehab is a as great as my friends in AA say. It sounds pretty rough! Hmmm chocolate chip pancakes... as long as I can have chocolate I should be a-ok..
I hope this is the moment for me to surrender to start over my crazy life and learn how to be sober... I want to be happy.
