Campernol warning!

A lady in AA has been having some really serious helth problems for about 4 or 5 months, partial temporary paralysis, horrific depressions, passing out and a lot of other weird things going on.

The last time I had seen her was about a month or so ago when we were helping get her into an ambulance because she was temporarily paralyaized from the neck down.

They thought it was some sort of illness where her body was not processing salt and a number of other things, she was seeing specialist constantly.

Long story short, she was having an allergic reaction to campernol.

She is doing great now, to see her now is really amazing.

So please keep thios in mind if you are taking campernol and start having some symptoms like I described. This must be pretty rare because all of her docs knew she was taking it.

I hope what I posted is not taken in that way Carol, this obviously is some thing one needs to bring to their doctors attention, this lady had her doctor fully informed, but this must be pretty rare and the reason I posted it was to where if someone is taking campernol and having problems they could bring up this possibility to their doctor, I know folks that have had great results with it.

Hi Taz..

I am glad the woman is healing from her problem.
I appreciate your warning of potential danger.

However..
My post was a reminder of SR Policy Rules & Regs
for all members.

Some of our newer members may not know our guidelines.

I hope I clarified this for everyone.

Well geez, Taz....

If you're gonna issue a warning about a drug -- get the name of the drug right!

It's Campral.

Happy Monday!

So I can not spell! LOL If that was my biggest problem I would be a happy man.

Carol and others that read this, please let your doctor know it all, and if they prescribe something please let them know if you are having any physical or mental problems after you start taking it, I worded my initial post badly, I hope I did not mislead anyone, this is a very rare side effect.
