I missed my 90 day mark.
I never thought this would be the case, because in the beginning I counted every day and every hour sober. WOW!! what a difference time makes. I just realized yesterday that last saturday 8/5 was 90 sober days for me.
I have no idea how I let that mile stone blow by unnoticed or unannounced. I guess maybe my now sober life seems more natural for me now and just no big deal. But anyway... here I am 90+ days.

Congratulations on your 90 days. That's awesome.
I'd do something special for myself on a day like that. Go to a movie, eat out, take a walk... something that is a reward for all that hard work.
Peace, Levi

Doodlebug!
Was that trickery? I read that you "missed" your 90 day mark, and I thought you had a slip! A lesson in positive thinking for me!
The last I think I saw you write was about how you passed by that restaurant with your hubby, and all those people were drinking outside (or something like that).....
Just think - if you had decided to stop and have a few drinks, you wouldn't be celebrating 90 days.
Congratulations, and keep up the good work!

I wasn't thinking about the title being tricky when I wrote it. Afterward I read it and knew I should have put "I missed celebrating my 90 day mark" I really didn't do that on purpose and should have changed it.
Thanks to everyone for congratulating me. I really is a bid deal and it has been difficult. I know that I am not out of the woods and I know that I can slip. The holidays are coming sooner than we know it and I think that will be a difficult time. I will take each milestone as it comes. but for now..it's just today.

Congratulations Doodlebug. It's a great feeling when being sober feels normal. I gotta second what Autumn wrote about you passing by that outdoor cafe full of people drinking. As you now proved for yourself, the way to get 90 days sober is to not drink on day 60,61,62... 89.
