living my way into right thinking
When I first got sober, it wasn`t long until I realized my mind was going crazy. My life (behaviors) was going crazy too.
Time goes by and as I worked on the steps and met people, I slowly got somewhat better.
I listened to those Oldtimers. They started making more sense to me. One thing I learned from them is that my intentions, thoughts,
feelings and beliefs never leave a footprint on reality.
Only my behavior has any impact beyond my mind. So,
I found that if I persistently seek to do the will of my HP, in the here and now, it often has a profound and wonderful impact on reality.
How I behave not nessacerly how I think helps me find a good life sober. The other stuff seems to tag along behind.
So, I guess those oldtimers was right when they said, I can`t think my way into good living,I must live my way into good thinking.
